The Heart of
the Village
Central pavilion for meditation, education, and cultural exchange. Its circular form narrates the journey from soil to wind to water — housing a meditation museum, library, and restaurant overlooking the lake.

Five Nations,
One Practice
Each village embodies the Zen Buddhist traditions of its homeland — Vietnam, Korea, Japan, China, and Tibet — with its own architecture, spatial language, and meditation programs.
Northern Vietnam Village
Terraced vegetable gardens cascade down the hillside. Cabins sit at the highest elevation, overlooking the fields and the lake. Brick walls and red terracotta tiles echo Northern Vietnamese vernacular architecture.

Middle & Southern Vietnam Village
Bamboo gates and paths lead to wooden houses with red clay tiles. The Southern zone extends over the lake — rafts, thatch-roofed lodges, deck platforms, and a bird garden create an immersive waterside retreat.

Chinese Village
Stilt houses and tree-house cabins in pine forest, with painting and calligraphy at the main house. Sightseeing by stairs through steep terrain. Architecture on stilts and in the trees brings discovery and playfulness.

Tibetan Village
Meditation on the rock beside the stream. Center space with fire and seating. Stone art arrangements for prayer. Lodges built in Tibetan mountain-house style — colour and structure laid faithfully against the hillside.

Korean Village
Organising Korean traditional activities — wood carving, concentration and ingenuity. The house is designed in the style of stilts. Architecture evokes traditional Korean architectural lines.

Japanese Village
Picking tea leaf, making tea — relaxed, optimistic, reflective. The centrepiece is a unique circular halo meditation sitting room. Halo lighting gives the meditator a sense of transcendence. Cabins designed in minimalist traditional Japanese wooden architecture.
